With a week remaining until the close of online registrations, entries have been flooding in. This is great news for us and for our main partner, beyondblue. All proceeds from the Willaura Farm to Pub support their work to equip everyone in Australia with the knowledge and skills to protect their own mental health.

beyondblue are giving people the confidence to support those around them, and making anxietydepression and suicide part of everyday conversations. And as well as tackling stigma, prejudice and discrimination, beyondblue are breaking down the barriers that prevent people from speaking up and reaching out.

Support beyondblue and have a great day out. We’ve got events for the whole family, which also include live music, a jumping castle, and great food and drink waiting for you at the Pub.

Online entries close 9am*, Thursday 23 February (*Note change of time. Previously 9pm.)

Note that late entries for all categories will be accepted on race day at the Willaura Hotel until 1 hour before each event. Late entrants may only participate as fun runners – times will not be captured & results not official.

We can also announce that six-time winner of the Brewis Medal, David Staehr (pictured, top) has now confirmed his place on the start line for the premier event, the 16.4km run. David is the undisputed champion of the Willaura Farm to Pub, holding the race record on each of the three variations of the Willaura Farm to Pub long courses (“Joyce”, “Taits” and “Millear”). This year’s track is Taits – which includes the ever-challenging Sandy Lane – with the record standing at 58:37 (2014).

David has been the fastest finisher every year since 2011 but is yet to claim line honours. Will the handicapper look more kindly upon him in 2017?
